I'd like to think I'm not addicted, as in I don't make a lot of updates, but I do have a few celebs on there it's fun to keep tabs on. Felicia Day wasn't lying when she said she's addicted. She's always updating, and at odd times. It's great for a random laugh throughout the day.
I was watching the news last night and I found the following very interesting. Twitter is playing such a huge part in the unrest in Iran over the election results that the Fed Gov actually contacted Twitter and asked them not to bring down the servers for scheduled overnight maintenance.
They are apparently using the site as a way to organize and keep each other up to date on hot spots throughout the country.

I dont see what the big fuss is really. The secretary at my work uses it, and from what I hear, she updates it with *everything.* And she isnt the most exciting person on the planet... "Oh I just watered my plants" "I fed my cat." As if I care!
If youre going to use something that lets stalkers keep tabs on you, atleast make it interesting, not mind-numbing.

I do the Facebook thing, but not Twitter. I update my Facebook status maybe once a day and comment on other people's stuff. I like Facebook, but I wouldn't say I'm addicted. (Okay, maybe a little bit addicted to a couple of the games, but...not much.)
I'll probably try to keep mine relatively updated with some FanFaire info while I'm there. Maybe as a preview of any articles. I figure that's something I can spit out with my phone during some of the panels that won't really distract anyone. I'm still debating.
Nope, I tend to ignore that as well as all other forms of sharing my life with the world like Facebook, etc...
I share the same feeling as Khalus here. I don' text either...

I just have not seen the point of Twitter and avoid it like the plague. I have a facebook page but I am lucky if I check it once a month. I do like texting however because there are times where it is easier then calling someone and an email may or may not be received.
