Free Realms has been building momentum at an incredible pace since its launch in April. The free-to-play MMOG by Sony hit two million users in less than two months of operation. This month Sony announced that Free Realms has hit another milestone, gaining over three million unique users. In Free Realms, players are free to do or be anything, including donning the job of pet trainer to raise a pet! Free Realms also features 14 other fun jobs to master, as well as the Free Realms Trading Card Game: a full-featured trading card game, playable both digitally within the Free Realms online game and offline via physical card decks sold wherever you buy trading cards.
To support the initial release and launch of Free Realms, nearly one million Station Cash game cards were made available across five major retail chains. Free Realms players can pop into select retailers to purchase Station Cash cards, which are used to redeem Station Cash and buy virtual goodies or upgrade to a Membership status in the game.

At this point, let me say this:
If you haven't tried Free Realms because you're so concerned with maintaining your snobby elitist view of F2P games, you're missing one helluva game and making yourself look foolish.
I won't be quite that mean, but anyone that's read the majority of the reviews I've done on F2P games knows that I'm generally not a fan at all. In fact, I find 95% of the F2P games out there to be *beyond* mentally painful and would rather sort socks for a week than play these things for an hour.
That said, I think Free Realms is a lot of fun. Far more fun than it really has any right to be. Personal opinion, but for the other F2P haters out there, maybe you'll give it a try off the word of one of your own
