Cryptic Studios Answers Questions for Champions Online Community

Cryptic Studios recently took the time to take and answer some questions from the Champions Online community. The latest question and answer session addressed questions about cutscenes, PvP, travel powers and much more.

Are cutscenes going to be included with our quests and story arcs? (Shaolinwind)

Yes. Cutscenes appear in many locations for dramatic interludes, to give clues to players, and to setup boss fights. Each of the major zones will also have a flyover cutscene that introduces newly arrived heroes to the area and sets the scene for the mission arcs in the zone.

I like cutscenes to an extent. They can definitely add to the immersion and tell a good story, but I've played games where they are overused and actually detract from it.
