Default Video: Paul Barnett Sums Up E3 2009

Creative Director Paul Barnett took a break from bringing panache to Warhammer Online crowds to emcee the EA booth's open stage and work the show floor at E3 2009. Paul shares his observations of this year's show, giving E3 2009 high marks for quality products and presentation without the money-slinging chaos of previous shows.

With scenes from around E3, EA's booth, and a few scenes from Paul's warming up the crowd for the Star Wars: The Old Republic trailer, this was the perfect way to close out our video coverage from E3 2009. Enjoy!

A lot of people don't like Paul Barnett but he has a way with words. It was really cool that he sat down with you to talk about E3. I think he has a gift. And I do support his products. Very cool guy. Good work ten ton. Next time ask him where he got his glasses. I am looking for a pair

He has a way with words... which is how he got a lot of people interested in WAR. This also has to do with why some people don't like him...

Personally I wouldn't let him introduce anything to do with Star Wars TOR... as it might come across differently to some people. Then again that's just my opinion.

*note* I fully expect a decent product out of The Old Republic. I'm more talking about perception and word of mouth.

Personally I love Paul, and haven't seen anyone say different, although this being the internet i'm sure there are people out there who don't enjoy him. He definately does have a way with PR, and I think he's responsible for quite a lot of people getting into WAR in the first place.

Unfortunately the actual pairs he has seem to be custom made, as they have the WAR Logo on one of the arms, so the only way to get some authentic ones is to bump into him somewhere and hope he's got some on him. (How I got mine, although I wasn't expecting them )

On the other hand, there's nothing stopping you buying some that look similar.

I am very jealous! I have been looking for a while. I might have to figure out how to get the logo on the glasses.

Paul deserves every penny he's got and more. He is a great guy and his insight is as humorous as it is wise.

It is not art that mythic has a problem with, but other parts of the team. I have no idea how much say Paul has over the mechics but clearly he gets the art right. Just look at how many people jumped on war because it looked cool.

Catching up on E3, I finally got to take in this gem.

The interview was very well done and Paul, as usual, provided some general, some personal and all intuitive insights.

Hopefully, the tip on getting media passes won't get anyone tackled to the ground for them LOL.
