Turbine has been releasing regular free updates for its flagship MMORPG, Lord of the Rings Online and they are readying for the release of yet another. Volume II: Book 8: Scourge of Khazad-dum will be launched in June and Turbine has released 12 new screenshots to show off the latest content coming to Lord of the Rings Online.

Looks ok but with the changes they made to LOTRO with MoM, and book 8 basically enforcing solo play with hardly any grouping I'm quite dissappointed in the direction this is headed.

Still have my lvl 60 Minstrel in the best current gear, and over 450 Deeds completed, all reputations at Kindred so I'd like to someday continue. However; its gonna take a lot to get me to return with FFXIV looming ever closer, especially after that Q&A.
