Default DOMO Review: Through the Looking Glass, Indeed

Alice Never Had this Much Fun

Danny "Ralsu" Gourley believes gamers looking for a F2P title that takes them off the beaten path while still providing familiar gameplay conventions will like Dream of Mirror Online (DOMO). He says the Chinese mythology used to propel the story is engaging and the game manages to supply the basic needs of any MMOG player. Could DOMO also be good enough for the P2P gamer who thinks all F2P offerings are trash?

Dream of Mirror Online is the kind of F2P game I wish more gamers would try. People who can appreciate the beautifully rendered cel-shading and a story that greatly varies from the traditional will not be disappointed.

The game is beautiful so far! I just downloaded it and I'm so far Level 7. I decided to make a Sprite. So far, from what I've learned, they're a class that works with nature/monsters (takes them along side during fights) and uses their ability to attack faster then other classes to their advantage. (They're weaker then others)

The sound is a bit repetitive -- I personally turned the effects off and lowered the background music to an almost non-existing level.

The quests and interaction of players is great. I can't think of anyway to degrade it. There is no lag between speech bubbles or give & take between quests, and the english isn't "engrish".

I would defiantly recommend this game.
