AoC Server Merges: Is the Sky Falling Yet?

For the most part, the Age of Conan server merges were met with enthusiasm and relief as those of us in game watch the populations thrive once again.

So what's up with the doom and gloom? The critics have leaped all over the server merges like a lawyer on a car crash victim but we need to hold off on the last rites just a little bit longer. AoC isn't dead yet and I'm gonna tell you why.

Hey nice read, but there are the addition of the NA fresh start servers too.

Agony and Ironspire / PvP and PvE NA

Skullcrusher and Blackscar / PvP and PvE EU

Which would make 22 servers left globally.

they have more servers in europe than lotro so from our side of the largish puddle it's doing okay.

It was needed, and badly. I was on the AU server, witch did not get merged & frankly it's dead. I moved all my characters to set & i have not looked back. As it stands right now BK PVP is not worth it anyway so i'm not missing out on much.

Up to 26 servers now, with lauch of the Russian and Polish ones.
