Default Ten Ton Hammer's FusionFall Review

FusionFall Sets its Sights on Kids AND Parents

The Cartoon Network has been a dominant factor in any child's television entertainment for years, so it only seemed natural to expand into gaming. Enter FusionFall, a browser-based MMOG designed to attract Cartoon Network viewers. In his review, Danny "Ralsu" Gourley takes a look at the gameplay and mechanics of the game and tells Ten Ton Hammer readers why FusionFall will be a big hit:
Quote:
Action in FusionFall is episodic. The game, which you play in your browser after installation of a plug-in, downloads the zone you are about to enter next as you complete the missions in the zone you are already in. The gradual download allows players to enjoy the action without ever experiencing much of a delay (at least on broadband connections).

I should note that the $19.95 retail box includes 4 months of gameplay and a few extras.

I thought it was a decent review. Not a lot of detail, but you covered the big points well. If somebody asked me to rate the game from 1-5 (based on gut feeling, as opposed to a defined rating system), I'd probably give it a 3, too. Fusion Fall definitely shows promise, but it needs some work, IMO.
