Default Lunia: Full Game Review

Obviously not afraid of a few exploding ostriches or combat oozes, Reuben “Sardu” Waters recently returned to the wilds of Lunia for a closer look before offering his full review of the free-to-play MMOG. In it, you'll learn a bit more about what makes Lunia tick, and why the game ultimately left a positive impression.

Quote:
Players in Lunia embark on a series of repeatable missions that can be accessed at any time via a handy UI button, or by simply leaving town in the appropriate direction. Think of these missions like a series of short arcade game levels, because for the most part that’s exactly how they’ll play out. As you advance, enemies will become increasingly more difficult, come in larger numbers and will have a greater variety of special attacks.

One thing I saw missing from the review is, multiplayer, I am assuming it IS an MMO, which it has to have some form of either massive or multi to qualify. But reading the review made it sound like a single player game.

Or did ya just not try grouping? Or am I just blind?

That's a good point actually - while I did cover that aspect of the game in the preview, I only alluded to it towards the end of the review rather than rehash what was already said.

It's definitely a multiplayer game though - unless you specifically set up a private room to solo in, you'll be sharing the mission areas with other players (as long as there's someone online who's looking to run the same ones). Think of it kind of like playing Gauntlet at the local arcade. You may start playing by yourself, but at any point other people may join you as you run through the levels.
