Personally dude, I dig the single panel format. It harkens me back to another webcomic of original EQ fame back when he was actually funny, LOL.

Really, though I have 592 pixels in width to work with, I can squeeze in four, three, and two panel formats too. I guess it all depends on the joke. Sometimes the ones that are short and sweet like this are all that's needed though.

The past two Geeked's have been good examples of that I think. I don't need more than one panel for little blurbs of dialogue like this. But a true Larson-esque one panel strip would be with minimal lettering. I'll get there.
