Recently,
Square Enix broke the news that players could expect three small expansions for
Final Fantasy XI starting in Spring 2009.
Final Fantasy fans are devoted in
their cosplay and their patronage, so Square Enix easily could have raked in the cash for these expansions by selling boxes in stores. Instead, the three content updates will be available for digital download only and cost a paltry $10 apiece. As if you weren't already drooling, Ten Ton Hammer has secured some digital copies of the high-profile art for each of the expansions.
