As excited as I've been for Spellborn's launch I'm not entirely surprised that the NA release got pushed back a bit. Not only has there been a giant pile of high profile releases over the past two months, but things have been eerily quiet on the news front for a game that was supposed to be launching in just over a week. I'm not sure how retail was going to be handled, but a launch post-holiday season might help insure Spellborn isn't crushed under the mountain of Wrath boxes I've been seeing everywhere. That plus the shiny + new factor will have had a chance to wear off a bit for anyone playing through one of the newly released expansions so they might be more willing to give a new though lesser known / hyped game a try.
The supposed cancellation of The Agency is a real head-scratcher as well. How terrible would that be for the winner of the G.I.R.L. scholarship who selected that game / studio to do her internship at only to find out that she shouldn't have made the move up to Seattle after all.
