WAR Journal: Heavy Metal

As you open your Tome of Knowledge today, you may notice the new guitar riff that pours out from the Live Event tab. Heavy Metal has begun, and a call to arms has gone out to every member of the realms. The two week long event requires a daily commitment from each Warhammer Online player that hopes to earn the great rewards the Tome of Knowledge promises.

Ten Ton Hammer will be there every step of the way, updating this daily journal with the tasks as the Tome of Knowledge assigns them. Tune in each day to keep track of our quest to successfully complete the Heavy Metal Live Event.

Last Night was amazingly fun. Open War was declared in Avelorn on Sylvania server and although the total ebbed and flowed for hours there was at least 50-150 players just duking it out. It was exhausting being on your toes non stop like that, but the thrill of the hunt was just too much to keep me away. The Keep did not fall while I was looged in, but I have no idea what happened afterwards. Speaking with my guildies the open warfare was going on all day in different areas, and it was a very nice contrast to chain joining scenarios (which I also enjoy).
Kudos on a fun event so far. Love the Riff when I open my quest log to see the days event as well.
