Hate Look of Lightsabers

After looking at the screenshots, I really hate the look of the current lightsabers. They're WAY too big. I understand wanting them to stand out, but I didn't expect this monstrous things.

Anyone want that changed?

They're place-holders.

I would say with almost certainty that they will not look like that when the game launches.

Take a look at the screen-shots. The rendering is terrible, the lighting is completely trash and they're from a game that was only announced like 2 days ago.

So keep in mind - we're talking about a game that's in like pre-pre-pre-pre-alpha stages.

Not only will you probably not see this released for another 1 or 2 years - AT LEAST. But it will most likely go through many changes between now and then.

This is one of the biggest challenges the game has - to live up to the expectations of Star Wars fans. If it's not right at launch, it's gonna be a pretty loud crowd.

Star Trek has an even harder crowd they need to please.

But, a bit of a shining hope is that Lucasarts is always hands-on with these titles, and they tend to be picky bastards.

I think what worries me more than the look of lightsabers is the variety of weapons (and armor) that will be available. You can only see so many colors of lightsabers before it's old hat anyway. I'm anxious to see what else they have planned.

They are indeed just placeholders, Lightsaber size and Jedi robes will most likely be like the ones seen in KOTOR...
