We have a few more details on the game to report from Cody Bye, our man on the scene at the Bioware press conference:
BioWare is referring to SWTOR as the "first story-driven MMO", and the story takes place about 3,000 years before Darth Vader arrives.
Players will be able to choose between two factions - the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire - and classes within those factions. And as if there was any doubt, you will be able to play as Jedi or Sith.
Players will have both personal stories and group stories, and your choices will affect how those stories unfold.
Companion characters - like R2D2 was to Luke Skywalker or Chewbacca was to Han Solo - will be available to players.
The art of the game was described as "beyond realism" - neither photo-realistic nor cartoony. BioWare stated they were going for a "painted feel."
The art is a bit iffy for me, but it looks better than most stuff out there right now. I'm just damn excited it's SW and it's BioWare and it's gonna be LIQUID AWESOME IN A BOTTLE!!!!

You know what, you're absolutely right - and I couldn't be more excited! Sometimes the wait can be more fun than the event *cough*Vanguard*cough*, and I look forward to a afew years of discussion and postulating
Now I just have to hope that both The Secret World and SWTOR can sit side by side....

Well, at least BioWare are kind enough to be giving us Dragon Age: Origins to play while we wait.
Well the graphics are borderline cartoon for me, having seen all of the other screenshots. I hope they move to a more realistic painted graphic than cartoon as it current is.
Beyond that I'm estatic that Bioware is developing this and have high hopes for the game. It's going to be an impatient two-year wait to see its release.
.....Does anybody have a freaking time machine handy? 2-4 yrs is too damn long to wait for this little piece of awsomeness.

If it's like K 1&2 art style I'll be fine with it. I hate photo realistic games anyway because the more they try to make it look real the faker it looks to me.
