First EVE Online Novel Reviewed

Empyrean Age, also known as EVE Online's factional warfare expansion, took the stage a few months ago but continues to draw attention from around the Internet. One overlooked aspect of the expansion rollout was Tony Gonzales' _EVE The Empyrean Age_ novel, which tells the story of the rapid descent of the EVE universe from a tenuous peace into all-out warfare. Ten Ton Hammer takes a closer look at the novel and tells a little of what to expect if you can get your hands on a copy.

"Gonzales masterfully connects the dots in a whirlwind of intrigue and plot twists of an epic scale, culminating in an hour of chaotic bloodshed on a massive scale. This is one of the darker sci-fi tales you’ll ever read. Many of the more likable characters will meet an untimely and (in many cases) absolutely vicious end. Still, the book is so well-architected and the subplots so compelling that even a plot resolution carebear like me finished the last third of the book in a marathon 3 AM reading session."

As for obtaining it, the book is also available from the White Wolf Online Store (search for keyword 'empyrean' to go directly to it), and those are shipped from North America which might make for speedier delivery for some.

Actually I recently ordered the book directly from the EVE store and not only did it ship from Austin to Ontario in less than 5 days, but since I ordered it directly from the EVE store my copy was signed by Tony.
