Warhammer Online RvR Scenario Guide - The Gates of Ekrund

Realm versus realm combat is at the very core of Warhammer Online. In order to give our readers an upper hand, the Ten Ton Hammer staff has put together RvR guides for each Tier 1 scenario. We started with Khaine's Embrace, moved on to Nordenwatch, and we finish up our Tier 1 series with The Gates of Ekrund. Arguably, the Gates of Ekrund is the most bloodthirsty Tier 1 RvR scenario. This is a sheer slaughterfest, even compared to the incredibly intense Nordenwatch and Khaine’s Embrace battle fields. For most gamers, and especially casters, dying four or five times won’t be such a bad outcome. If you’re a player that loves to simply jump into the middle of a brawl and have it out with other players, this is the scenario for you.

Gates the definitly the most fun for a tank class, or anyone that likes quick and constant action, its like 10 seconds to run back to an all out slaughterfest!

Yeah it is. I actually figured the melee DPSers would get the most fun out of it. Unfortunately - I'm a healer. I died ALOT.

I hated the place at first when I went in at like rank 6, totally crappy gear, and the bolster did not help much, now at 10 in renown gear, its awesome. Sitting in the enemy room stalling them for 2 minutes with hold the line + all my defensive attacks just to piss them off

And with a good healer, hold me back!
