Default Stargate Worlds: Beta Update Video from Leipzig GC
When we first heard that Stargate Worlds had hired a convoy of Humvees within which to conduct their on-site interviews at Leipzig, our first reaction was to think that floor space on the event grounds might have been exponentially cheaper. It turns out that Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment (CME) / Firesky does indeed have a booth at Nintendo's old digs in the downtown train station, and environmentalists and fuel conservationists can relax, these Hummers run on natural gas.

But it wasn't just for show, the Stargate Worlds team is getting very serious about beta. Studio Lead Dan Elggren offered his insight into the progress the team is making with the game and even drops a concrete hint as to when CME will start inviting players to closed beta. Hint: it's sooner than you think, so if you're intrigued by Stargate Worlds, be sure to sign up for beta at www.stargateworlds.com if you haven't done so already!

I'm loving it!!

I just hope I get one. I signed up for Stargate Beta the day it was announced. I have been trying to get in that way through their forums. But so far no luck. Maybe we can get some TTH beta passes. That would rock!!

After I did that I discovered the vip ask the devs stuff with some nice info in it. Glad I made the decision. Hope to see some more and maybe get my own questions answered. (have to think of them first though)

Been waiting for like 2.5 years now (signed up on their forums in Feb of 2006)...I'd like to cut my wait a little shorter if I can.
With 200,000+ people signed up already I thought it was a good idea to up my chances.

Sucked not getting invited to the WAR beta even though I signed up more than a year ago.
That's more of a "I just want to play it without having to buy it" thing...not intending to buy it right now. Stargate is tied for my favorite Sci-fi franchise...right alongside Star Trek, so I'd love to be able to help mold the game into something great.
