Information on the upcoming game The Secret World from Funcom has been sparse. Ten Ton Hammer has already brought you information on one of the developers of this covert project and now two new screenshots have been discovered amongst Funcom's Q2 Report.

Thanks for that, Aurael. I think we should create a TSW forum where all TTHers who are looking forward to the game can gather and wax lyrical about how great the game could be!

I mean... I know if will be just you and me, but I don't like the idea of waiting until 2010 alone.

Ah so this is why it wasn't in the other news section

It's good to see that a modern day life mmo is making it into the business.

However as with AoC, remember that this will be also a very casual mmo and thus not a grinder, i'm saying this cause this can't be repeated enough.

Just to be pedantic - we don't know what it's going to be. It's still being kept very much under wraps by Ragnar.

Actually that's the only consistent thing i've heard from that and that being to take over the complete casual mmo market.

Although this can be mainly just the planned browser based MMO's, AoC was very casual aswell so this makes me make that link rather easly.

But looking at the Q2 they got several projects running (3 mmo's i think) so i could very well be wrong.

We can't make suppositions based on AoC, really. AO was a complex and deep game, that was very hardcore friendly, at least till Shadowlands destroyed it utterly. That may be more the direction TSW goes in.

I, for one, am looking forward to it, and I hope they don't milk the hype machine so hard this time.
