Given the impressive list of people involved on the project I can't help but be interested in seeing what kind of game they collectively come up with.
Two mini-factoids from the Land of Sardu:
- I still have my signed copy of the first issue of the McFarlane Spiderman comic on the wall in my office ...
- Among many other bizarre items I've collected over the years I have 2 original cells from Alice in Wonderland (a few frames before Alice finds the Mome Raths

)
The first speaks for itself. The second I only mention because I've always been a big fan of "classic" Disney art style. From the concept art shown so far, I can easily see the influence which I think is a good thing.
As far as the fantasy setting goes, I still don't see it as being overplayed at all. If anything, seeing the exact same mechanics in every new game that's released is what's getting old for me, regardless of setting. Mind you I really do
like the formula that's been iterated upon by most games since EQ hit store shelves, but any new additions to it keep seemingly expanding on it sideways rather than boldly forward.
