Default Stargate Worlds - Through The Gate at Comic Con '08

Some interesting new info, and a great write-up. Two things that really stood out for me:

The idea of increasing the level cap in smaller increments with content updates could be a pretty cool feature. If done right I think it would go a long way towards strengthening player retention between major expansion content, especially if there's a sense of not only your character but also the timeline of the overall story / lore moving forward.

The second thing is the ability to customize and save UI settings to the level suggested. That's something I've been wanting to see implemented in nearly every game I've played - not that I have anything against using standard UI set-ups mind you.

In any given MMO there are two constants that you'll be seeing no matter where you go or what you do in the game. The first is your character, which has gotten the majority of focus in just about every game in terms of customization be it via aesthetics gained through itemization or even the ability to visit an NPC to change such minor details as your hair style. But you'll also be spending a heck of a lot of time looking at the UI, which I think is an element that deserves a lot more attention than it's gotten in most games.
