DC Universe Online Screenshots - Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, and The Flash

The E3 information storm is upon us, and the Sony Online Entertainment developers haven't pulled any punches! Instead, they've released a grand ol' wallup in the form of a bunch of screenshots and video from DC Universe Online. Frankly, the screenshots from this game look gorgeous, and if SOE can make the hero creator anywhere near as flexible as it should be in this type of game, they may have a hit on their hands. If they put every character from all the comics that would be awesome. And yeah it sure looks good from those screen shots

The game does look good so far. I'm curious to hear more about what the gameplay is like - mission based ala the CoX games, or more standard RPG elements ala other SoE titles like EQ2 etc? Can you play a vampire that vomits blood? Or even a mad scientist who thinks they're a vampire and uses blood-vomit attacks??

I'll admit that I was always more on the Marvel side of the fence, but then again I was also a major Jim Lee fan. Either way, good move on SoE's part to start hyping the game around the release of the Dark Knight. Now that part of the DC Universe always held my interest (aka the grittier, darker story lines)

I'm in the exact same boat Sardu. I love Jim Lee's art.
