Default Cryptic Taking Up Star Trek MMO?
Now it's just a rumor (and incredibly likely rumor), but Cryptic seems to have hinted pretty hard that they've gotten the IP rights for Star Trek Online.

Do you think Cryptic Studios, now showing a pattern for taking on abandoned IP's, has what it takes to do Star Trek right? And the most pressing question on everyone's mind right now...

Will Klingons be a playable race?!

I do, indeed, believe Cryptic has what it takes to make STO successful. And I believe Klingons have to be a playable race eventually if not at launch.

that would be surely a interesting MMO, but one thing scares me a bit...

Imagine a die-hard-or-never Startrek fan...now I can hear the sentence
" *gasp* But, in episode 3 at 10 minutes and 20 secs the boots where blue, not green and the beaming device had three crystals and not five...how do you explain this blah blah and yadayada"

I meet a few of above "fans" Trekkies - however you may call them - and they are a scary roleplay surfpunk nazi bunch from hell....makes me shiver just to imagine playing on a roleplay server with them.

But in any case, it would be fun playing Data or something

This is another MMO I have been hoping I would see soon and if its true I am glad its not going away.

Star Trek has potential but it has to be done right.

As long as I can have a Batliff, Blood Wine, and some Klingon Cleavage I am all over this game!!
