Take note however when you don't have early acces there's no point in downloading it, you might have to login on your account page but i don't think you have to.
IDM doesn't allow you to download the client, be sure to download it without a download client, there are still some other issues, so Download at your own risk.

Link seems to be down now unsure if it's intentionally been taken down or not, i'll continue to update it as soon i find more info. Currently also have an odd error when trying to launch the exe. this however might be on my end.

"After the downloader is available, we can start charging the Early-Access fee over the selected paying method. After that, access to the downloader for the Pre-Order client will be provided(around 14GB).
Depending on the paying method used, this could cause further delay in the Pre-Order download. Once the money is collected from a player, he will get an email with information on where to get the Downloader for the Pre-Order. Everything will be done and finished within 24 hours in the worst case.
We are not allowed to charge the players before providing the download.
We are sorry for any inconvienience this may cause and hope that the fee collection goes as fast as possible for all of you. To shorten the waiting time we have put togethera little Howto for the Funcom Downloader, so you get the most out of it once you receive your download-link."
Also from reading the german sites, i've found out that we should be able to download the client within 24 hours.
Update: 11th of May 17:44pm GMT+2 Just to clear up: Downloader is not ready, so no emails will be going out. Once we have it ready and start emailing we will let you know, so you can stop mangling your poor email client
