Crafting and its benefits within a guild

I know you have brought up that there will be an adavantage to take part in a guild and craft within guild city limits but here is where my question comes in..

Question:
Is it really that big of a benefit to craft an item within guild city limits then say if you were off far away questing and you didn't want to take the time to trek back within your city?
Would it be worth the extra effort and if so could you possibly have some type of example percentage wise, say stat percentages on a BP crafted out of city limits compared to within city limits?

Crafting requires the use of equipment that will be found in the Guild Cities. I do not believe you can craft a sword in the middle of the wild on a campfire

I believe that Gaute himself have actually stated in a video interview that you can craft everywhere, and that you only needed the guild city to craft the highest tier of equipment. Has this been changed?

I hope crafting stays in guild made cities to encourage guilds to build up the best cites they can create.

I think making crafting available in different areas is a good thing for the players as a whole. It will make trading and selling easier, and will reduce the amount of time you spend on your feet.
Although I can see the advantages to keeping it in guild, because as Dagmartalon said it will promote building up your guild cities.

I think that the crafting will be both in and out of guilds they call the game a single player MMO. Meaning you can play as a member of a group or as one person. The crafting system is one of the things I am very excited about and I think that you can craft on foot but to do the absoute best items you have to be in a city or guild. This way the game incourages you to join guilds. Its pretty smart.
