RP-PvE Servers

Question: Will there be a Roleplay based PvE server at launch?

We are going to try to make sure we have servers to support the demand at launch of all types. I know this sounds vague but we cannot commit to the number of servers until we gauge better the interest. If the demand is seen enough to populate a server for RP PvE then we will likely have it, but so far the demand for that has been much lower than the demand seen for RP-PvP, PVP, and PvE

Thanks for the response, but I get the feeling the demand for this server is running pretty high. Time shall tell I guess.

Not on the official site unfortunately, but I have put one up here you can cast a vote in if you want.

I wouldn't mind there not being a RP-PvE server if the RP-PvP server has 'laws of the land'... thus making griefing somewhat costly for the griefer.

No doubt, but i am fairly certain there will be a pretty decent amount of people that would prefer a RP-PvE server with Border Kingdom PvP. If there is no such server at launch, rest assured there will be an unofficial RP server named on a PvE server.

In the long run if there are people willing to go to them (and there will be) having both servers to accommodate will be the best option.

That's why I said what I did in my other question about semantics. I've heard this "enough demand" response before so I'm curious how "much demand" it is they want. There has been plenty of requests for it on the official forums, here and other forums. I'm just wondering if they aren't seeing the demand intentionally or if they are, how much farther up on the demand meter do we have to go?

best idea until there is an official one. I never really saw the reason for an RP tag...but I dont make decisions. RP is what you make it. But I do hope that there is enough playerbase and demand for an RP-PVE server. The more players the better the game imho.

Usually its just a place for the roleplay crowd to flock to when the servers launch. That and often times they tend to be some of the best servers community wise in the games I have played.
