Vanguard Demo?

Hi,

Can we expect a demo of Vanguard after release for us that didnt get into the beta and got a chance to try out the game?

I think will be some time after release (months) before we see a free demo for the game.

My guess is if they put out a free trial or demo in the next few months then the game is having some issues getting customers.

Yeah, that would be one way ot look at it.

I would expect that perhaps after 6 months or so you might see some sort of demo/trial, but who wants to download 16-20 gigs of stuff just to try out a game?

If they were to do it right, the trial would be seperate from the game, like a pocket Vanguard. One little island, all of the races and some quests for folks to try adventuring, crafting and diplomacy. That way we can avoid the RMT groups that use free trials as throw away account to hawk their wares to the rest of the game from the newbie zones.

I'd be tempted to buy the game since it will probably come with thrity days or whatever free. If you don't like it then you can always uninstall it and try again in a few months when more fixes and content have been added.

Yeah, a 30 day trial is usually pretty standard fare for most mmorpgs these days.
