Customer Support Interview with Funcom's Brian Lee
The Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures community has questions and we have answers. One of the most important aspects of any MMORPG is the ability to address it's customers concerns quickly and effectively. This week Ten Ton Hammer had the opportunity to get some answers on how the customer service (CS) will work in Age of Conan Hyborian Adventures. Martuk had the opportunity to get some of these answers from Brian Lee, Funcom's Customer Service Manager on many important CS topics ranging from the naming policy, Funcom's plans to battle gold spam, the guide program for Age of Conan, and much more.
Quote:
Brian Lee: We are trying to remain as “hands off” as possible in regards to how players choose to play their characters, but it will never be considered “ok” to harass another player. Not only will we have a code of conduct, but there will also be tools and game mechanics in place so that players may protect themselves in lieu of requesting GM intervention.
So, let's just say, I'm interested in this whole Followers of Asura program to "help" new players to the game. Now, let's just say, while "helping" these newcomers a little a/s/l slips off my fingers. And again, purely speculation here, let's just say I told them that was mandatory information in order for me to process their help request, along with a full body photograph sent to support@live.com. Would that be "wrong"?
