Art Book Preview: Cimmerian Armor

Age of Conan boasts over 1,500 sets of armor with each set containing four to eight pieces of armor. That's a lot of armor. In today's Art Book Preview we take a peak at some of the concept art for some Cimmerian armor. We feature hide armor and half plate in this glimpse. I feel that cimmerian armor could use a more warlike naturistic tone, not that i don't already think that the current look is wrong but to allow a grittier warrior group.

Yes, Cimmerian's aren't known for their loving nature.

I like the armor look - alot. As a future AoC armorsmith let me just say I hope there is some customization like color changes that can be made as the armor is crafted. How cool would it be if you could change the color of the wolf? Even stalking and killing a diferent color wolf to add as a component when its beign crafted...

I hope there is some customization in there as well, but I don't want to see the extreme versions. In the case of the wolf, I would love to see a difference in appearance using parts from a black, gray, or white wolf. I just don't want to see a neon pink wolf slung over someone's shoulders.

Cimmerian armor look great i think. Customization, as Funcom team said, is possible thru layers. You can wear pants underneath your greaves or a t-shirt underneath your cuirass.

Cimmerian armor seems quite savage already...dont over-do it!

As posted above the last thing i would like to see in AoC is the Rainbow Conqueror or the Pink Tempest of Set walking in Hyboria!

Please stop color desecration!!!
