I don't think this was really all that surprising to be honest. I think most people were looking for September...but now maybe October. Although I'm extremely disappointed because I expected all this epic drama with AoC/WAR/WoW Expansion....

I was always under the impression it would be the fall and that would "give time" for Conan to come out and entertain and try to get subscribers. So May 20 for Conan, maybe September? for Warhammer and then November for WotLK - it's shaping up to be a fun year for MMOGs...be interesting to see who's projections at the beginning of the year come out correct.

I imagine they are under a lot of pressure from a lot of directions.
I'm very glad that they seem determined to release WAR when it's ready and not before.

I think there will still be drama for WAR with the WoW expansion.

I'd rather have it delayed then launched with a lot of bugs and glitches. Still, I'm a little sad nonetheless.

Folks,
Could be worse, we could have released a game that wasn't ready for release. That never works out well.
As far as other games go, well, we'll just have to wait and see just like WAR.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting Mark. I don't think the delay really surprised many of us but we all look forward to release date.

*laughs* Good to hear from you, Mark! When do you think you'll be ready to release an official date?

/agreed with Mark.
Better delayed and polished, balanced, etc than release too early and have players be disappointed.
While I cannot wait to jump into Greenskins...I'd certainly rather see a strong game than one released too early.
