I've seen you covering this game for a few weeks now Cody and I'm sorta interested in it. I've always prefer ed to play games where I'm a character. Will you have an avatar in Jumpgate or is it your ship like Eve? What sets this game apart from Eve, or it too early to tell?

No avatars in this one - they don't have the resources to implement it correctly. However, it's not really like EVE at all - they do fly ships in space, but Jumpgate Evolution is more like Wing Commander, Privateer, or X-Wing vs. Tie Fighter than EVE. You will be in direct control of your ship via joystick or keyboard/mouse and it'll feel more like a shoot'em up rather than the slow pace of EVE.
