Age of Conan Class Interview #9: The Tempest of Set

The Priest class interviews are finished up with the Tempest of Set. Evan Michaels returns to us to tell us all about the class. As this is technically the newest class of the lot, we had a lot of questions. We find out where this class has come from, where its strengths are and how it all balances out.

The Tempest of Set is an evolution of many different class concepts which eventually become consolidated into the class we have available to us today. The Tempest combines almost all of the unique aspects of the previous Scion of Set, Druid, and Stormcaller classes, focusing primarily on a mix of healing, area-of-effect lightning damage, and crowd control.

I was hoping for that too Notleh, but hey no biggie. ToS looks very interesting and the "highest aoe dmg/area" part is really blingbling. Only 2 more months !

Sounds like an interesting class, kinda like an AoE version of the WoW shadowpriest. Will be interesting to see how the necro and demo match up in terms of damage and CC/squishyness. Can't wait for the next ^^ (giev necro!)

I was looking at either necro or demo, but after reading this, I'm giving some serious thought to the tempest. Tossing around aoe lightning and storm effects, plus snake-like snares.... mmmmm, yummy.
