Here at the Ten Ton Hammer offices, we often run into games that are new, underserved, or simply unheard of by the general gaming community. Recently, we were contacted by individuals at a company called 3D MagicBox about their upcoming MMORPG, Renaissance: Chronicles of Chronia. Boasting a fantasy/medieval setting and a single shard world, Renaissance looks to be an interesting MMORPG once the game hits store shelves or the direct-to-download marketplace. In the game faq on the main site I found a few things interesting I hope make it into the game. The first was 'Appearance over time'. If I read it right, if you stay out in the wilderness, over time you start to look ruff and dirty so when you get back to town less and less people will want to talk to you. Also the open ended crafting system looks pretty great. Unfortunately its probably the hardest to implement after a balanced combat system. I wish the devs luck in making this game and hope TTH keeps up updated on its progress.
