GDC 2008: Stargate Worlds Preview

Stargate Worlds continues to be a game to watch in the upcoming MMO race of 2008-2009. At GDC we got a chance to see some of the environments players will be able to explore in the game. From Agnos the planet of the Ancients to Lucia the junk planet there are a lot of worlds to explore. Read on to find out more about the Stargate Worlds universe.

Stargate Worlds continues to gain in momentum as the year progresses. After their debut trailer at the beginning of 2008, the team is now starting to show off some game play elements as well as give us a closer look at the environments. The Cheyenne Mountain team gave us a walk through of the different environments while at GDC and also answered some technical questions about the development of the game.

Nice. Next to Age of Conan this make my most anticipated list.

Seeing the world design is great for differnt zones. I would like to see what combat and avatar movement looks like in detail- hopefully!

Stargate and Eve Ambulation are my 2 top choices for sci fi 2008!
