You've seen the video, now read the transcript. Age of Conan developers sit down with community members and press to discuss the state of the game. They answer questions about stealth, raiding, female characters, loot and more. For the first time, this panel is now available in transcript format.

We will have twenty plus raid targets at launch. We're going to have 24-man teams as raid target number of players. Almost exclusively the raids are high level, as in 75+ to 80. I think there are one or two examples of lower level, but I'm not totally sure if they're going to make it or if we ramp them up to level 80. Our estimate says that we have several hundred hours of raid content, and I hope that's true, but it also depends on how hard we make it. I mean we can make one raid take several hundred hours.

I think this was needed from what i've seen and heard. They've had such a grand scope and it makes sense for them to take extra time to trim the fat and get everything tip top come opening day.

As for them keeping up with demands... is that possible? This community at times can be very caustic. Still wish they were more forthcoming with information. Granted kind of hard for them to talk about a moving target, but with all this in place now... The State of the Game needs to not be a Friday update, and we need more details on whats coming out.

In response to are FC keeping up with the demands of the community, the only thing I have seen, or not seen, so far that I don't like is official listing for an RP PvE server. There are plenty of gamers that like the added rulesets (character naming policy, open chat policy) that comes with an RP server' service but are play games for fun and to relax and don't like the FFA in all but hub zones. Having a RP PvE server doesn't hurt anyone or anything, especially if they already plan RP PvP servers. People who like to RP don't necessarily like to PvP as well.
