How many times have you had a dream where you donned the tuxedo of James Bond or leather of Sydney Bristow and gunned down your enemies without batting an eye? Your dreams may finally become reality when SOE Seattle's The Agency hits store shelves. While the Ten Ton Hammer staff was attending CES 2008, Sony Online Entertainment gave us a special "sneak peek" of the action in The Agency, and it was all we could do to not gawk at the masterful demo they presented to us. What are you waiting for, start watching the video now!
I would try it either way. Last I heard Sony was looking at different profit models but hadent decided on anything yet. Is there a Playstation release before a PC release on this game? I havent heard anything for sure on this yet?
It looks very interesting. I'll definately be keeping my eye on this one and will at least give it a try when available, but I'm disspaointed what they've done with the female models. I'm very aware that the image of women in games hasn't moved forward that much ina a decade and in some cases is moving backwards. If we want the games industry to be taken seriously, female models should not look like they were designed by honry 15 year old boys.
I know, The Agency is a little different, looks wise. It seems to be going for the little cartoony look, like Team Fortress 2, so it's not that bad, but I'm very much against some of the S&M type females out there in games (WoW and WAR may step forward now).

You know, I'm a female gamer and I don't mind it. It's not that I want to be objectified or that I want every "horny 15 year-old boy" type to try to get a little quality cyber time with me, it's that when I game I'm living in a fantasy world and I just plain like my character to look hot. (Yes, it's really a fantasy! )
Now, I do know a few women who'll play unattractive characters, but on the whole you don't see anyone making characters with thunder thighs or bulging bellies or saggy boobs. We have enough stress dealing with body image in the real world to have to worry about being fugly in game. And by the same token, I don't see a lot of guys running around playing scrawny wimps or short fat men with massive beer guts.
Honestly, I think the character models for The Agency look slick. And when I get my hands on the game, I'll most definitely be rolling out a hot chick.

Pretty much looks like it to me and i'm not being negative about this, i bet there will be enough interest in this even if it's just for the FPS shooter aspect of the game but mainly FPS people aren't used to playing subscribers.
From my opinion if they want to drag in fps 'clans' they'll need to have plenty of competivity inside the games, as this game at first glance seems to be heavly focussed on teamplay, personally i never liked a mmo that forces me into a team and forces me to be without any limbs when attempting to game alone.
Games that did that never were a great succes 'points to FF online'
