While we were attending CES 2008, the Funcom developers gave us the concrete details concerning the Age of Conan Collector's Edition. Personally i would like to see where to pre-order it near me in Europe then anything else

Nice to see what's inside it yet it raises a question. The drinking cape was already promissed for those signed up for the clan of conan a while ago, does this still count?

I believe so, I think it' just an addition they put into the box for people that didn't sign up.

Well guess so, kind of makes that 'sign up early!' part a bit pointless for the fans that are getting the CE.

Box contents aside, I am more impressed with the fact that the TTH guys managed to get a picture of Abraham Lincoln holding the CE box! I mean, he didn't have his trademark hat on in the picture, but you can tell by the beard that it was really Abe himself! w00t!

What I heard is that this cape is for those who were with them at the beginning and a true fan. You could get it from the Clan of Conan sign up or maybe as a closed beta tester or in this Collector's Edition. They won't make any more Collector's Edition but the first run which will sell out so you won't be able to get the Drinking Cape any other way once the game launches. Years from now if you see someone wearing it in the game, they obviously were deeply involved from the beginning of the game.
