Default Six New Screenshots from Stargate Worlds
As one of the longest running and most popular science fiction television programs to ever hit our late night screens, it was inevitable that Stargate received the official video game treatment. However, no one expected that one of the first games out of the gate (heh) would be a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game by the name of Stargate Worlds. With the release of their official trailer, Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment has put this MMOG firmly on the map and gathered a whole host of new fans. The Ten Ton Hammer staff was lucky enough to receive six brand new screenshots from the CME team, showcasing the two new worlds displayed in the trailer: Agnos and Anima Vitrus. Enjoy!

At any rate, the wee bits and pieces I've seen of the game now have managed to get me interested more so than I'd expected. The SG:1 show was decent enough but never quite hooked me... I'm not sure why though beyond each new 'alien' world they'd travel to looked surprisingly like the western parts of the US and Canada.

From the game's trailer it looks like they added a shiny new layer of sci-fi to the IP that budget dictated wasn't viable in the original TV series. Great call on their part as well to let you not only play as other races, but on opposite sides of the galactic struggle should you choose. I'm sure I'll be watching for bits of gameplay footage to start rolling out... in the meantime I'll be eagerly awaiting the day AoC finally launches.

Much better, thanks for the fix!

I'm still surprised by how... well just how colorful the game looks so far. The show was all drab / earth tones which is more of what I'd expected to see from the game. Glad to be surprised on this one.
