Have you downloaded the premium content for EVE's latest expansion? Would you if you met the tech specs? How would you rate the other more gameplay-oriented features?

I once again have to give a big round of clap to a set of developers who are willing to spend a chunk of time updating the graphics for their old game rather than going all out and creating a sequel. If EQ could've done this instaed of making EQ2, I think the game would have continued to be as successful as it was in 2000-2001.

Really makes me want to re-up my subscription to give it a test run...especially since I'm running a relatively good PC atm *loves his 8800GTS*

But as I've learned in the past with EVE...it's best to let the patch mature for a week or so before jumping in.

Kerfuffle seems to mean to become disheveled. It is a commotion or a state of excitement.

XP boot.ini issues aside, this is the best expansion yet out of CCP. Not only do you get an awesome graphic upgrade, the code is optimized for better performance in large engagements.

There are some bugs that are a little annoying, though. In the corporation context, anyone with *any* corp roles at all are getting copies of director evemails - this station needs fuel, rent is due over here, and cc's of every application email from new people. It's a corp spy's dream!

Have any of you even played eve after Trinity? 170+ bugs 120 of which existed before the patch. Massive amounts of gameplay changes completely ignored in all pre-patch information. Ten Ton is laying on the bias a little thick it seems.

Yes I have, and the only bugs that I noticed were that mining lasers animation only showed at activation. But I haven't had time to do much after the patch.
