Default Developer/Community Questions Week of 11/16

We here at Ten Ton Hammer are committed to providing a fun and interesting community while also covering important issues and providing feedback to NCsoft as often as possible. As promised we submitted a second round of questions to the Tabula Rasa community team and Community Manager CuppaJo has once again been kind enough to take a stab at them.

Ten Ton Hammer: What is supposed to go in the kennels in Foreas Base? Are we getting some AFS guard dogs? Howler-types maybe?

CuppaJo:
Those kennels are pretty big for howlers eh? PAU Parking maybe? Either that or they are for the children once we find them.

Ten Ton Hammer:
Ok mental note, we don't ask what NCsoft employees have in their basements. "How are the Military Surplus buildings going? Everyone can't wait to take advantage of a market system.

CuppaJo:
OMG! They are on the Test Server. Please help us test them!

Ten Ton Hammer: That worked out really well! We are VERY excited these are making it in game. Are there any plans for the release of TR on other OS's?

CuppaJo: No – we do not plan to release TR on other OS's.

Ten Ton Hammer: Meh, sorry Linux guys but it looks like you are going to have take a deep breath and join us on XP or Vista. Are there plans to enhance the mini map or add a local map? Specifically the poster was asking in regard to an indication of impassable areas? Perhaps and outline to show "This is a mountain and you can't go over this."

CuppaJo: I have passed this on to the team responsible for all things map-ish.

Thanks again to CuppaJo for answering all these! Do you have questions you'd like to see answers too? There is no question we're afraid to ask (assuming it isn't offensive) so head over to the Ask a Dev section of our forums.
