Lineage 2: The Kamael Hands-On Preview

The deluge of information regarding Lineage II's upcoming expansion, The Kamael, continues as Ten Ton Hammer managing editor Cody "Micajah" Bye has posted his initial impressions of the new content. Full of descriptions of high-level content, new experiences, and a general reintroduction to the game, the hands-on preview is a must read for anyone interested in the new Kamael content. As one of the highest level instances in the game, Crystal Caverns was certainly a challenge for our party. The initial foray met with some incredibly heavy resistance, and if it wasn’t for the protection of our GM liaison, we would have player wiped several times over. Though our party did have some experienced L2 players in it, we were not without our fair share of newbies (myself included) so it was often a struggle to get past certain areas. The combat was fast and furious, and I certainly had to make up my fair share of the party damage or death was quickly upon us.

you know i have played this game since C2 i guess that makes me a old timer in some ways. had to stop just before the lauch of "C5" this upcomming update actually sounds really neat. i am not so sure about the new dungen thing though. but the new class and and other things you have mentioned sound great. but i have to admit, this new class sounds really limited. i mean a tank isnt a damage dealer by no means which tends to lead to sucking at pvp and the females are only a archer type class. where is the mage and healer classes?

and to add more questions apon questions how will this affect subclassing? is i take my silver ranger and subclass a female from the new class how will suddenly not be able to sprout wings and fly and such? assuming wings allow you to fly.

and if you pick up the tourch for L2 again what server would you pick? this is just me being nosie.
