I have a few questions if someone would be so kind to help clear them up.......Thanks in advance

1. At what level will I get to the place for storage. I have lots of things in my bag but I'm lvl8 and don't know if I want to keep trying to hang on to them. Lots of gathered type stuff.....Iron Ore, Fragments and Weapons to pass to alts

2. Is it worth the 1000 gold to purchase the extraction tools and how many does it do?

I know I have more but these are the two that really play on my mind for now.

Thanks

Hey all! Feels strange to be back in the old stamping grounds that is the TTH WOW pages, but unfortunately I don't have much time to sit around remiscing about the good old days - I have a question:

How much has WoW changed in the last 6 months?

I chose to hang up my shield in April shortly after I became a father and just recently I've been having withdrawal symptoms. I promised myself I wouldn't be back until the next expac came out, but my minds playing tricks on me. 'Just one month won't hurt' it whispers incessantly in my ear.

So, is there anything major that would draw an old player back for the scant few hours he could play a week between changing nappies and earning a wage?

Now I have played alot of MMOs. There prolly isnt one out there I havent touched at one point in time. Be it main stream like wow, older like eq or somewhat unknown as darkfall. But out of all of them FFXI is the only one that ever really did it for me and there is alot as to why but ill skip that.

Seeing what imagines there are and what vids there are floating around I am very pleased. It looks like I hopef it would and sounds like I hoped it would. Reading around with what little info there is I keep seeing something pop up. The game being more "solo friendly" Now we all know that ffxi isnt solo friendly at all. You have to been in a party to get anything done but I think that is were alot of the charm comes from(as well as alot of heart ache). It also makes people act better. Be less rude and learn to play there classes much better. Unlike the more "solo friendly" games. If you can do most of the things in a game by yourself there is no need to make friends nor a need to be friendly polite nor helpful.

So to the point I cant wait in the next year to see this game grow and come out. I just really fear that its going to come out and it well just be like all the other new MMOs that have come out. So solo friendly to were you dont really ever need to be in a group and were to get that quest done or to take down that boss doesnt really take all that much effort and the feeling of reward isnt even there.

Looks like Blizzard has posted up their thoughts on the design decisions when it comes to Icecrown. The lengthy interview posted today goes over some interesting bits about Icecrown, items, and encounters. There isn't a lot new in it, but it's still worth a read.

Greg: There are three main sources of loot for Icecrown: the bosses themselves, the Emblem of Frost badge vendors, and a new faction, the Ashen Verdict, that will provide suitable rewards as well, particularly at the Exalted level.

As far as the items themselves go, we want them to feel epic. In addition to having favorable optimization, we also want to try a lot of experiments to make the items feel cool and unique. We are going to try to do a lot of weapon procs, for instance, which is something we haven't done much since the original World of Warcraft.

Bounty Bay Online will be launching its newest add-on November 25th, 2009. With the latest content addition comes the new high level Mayan group instance. Located deep within the South American rainforest, the capital Mayan city is home to many precious relics, bloody rituals, and a multitude of dangers for players to overcome.

On 25th November the latest and up to now the most comprehensive ever add-on for Bounty Bay Online will be available on the servers. With the release of the add-on, 'Beyond the Horizon' next Wednesday, high level players will enter the demanding Maya group instance for the first time.

Hidden deep in the South American rainforest lies Salinas, the capital city of the Mayan civilisation. In the hinterland beyond this mysterious city, in the middle of the both beautiful and treacherous tropical landscape, impressive pyramids rise up to meet the sky. They are ancient silent witnesses to long-forgotten knowledge, unspeakable riches, but also bloody rituals. A few Mayan warriors still roam this territory today, guarding over precious relics and monuments of their culture, shrouded in legend. Players battle through this danger-ridden jungle full of viperous creatures until they finally reach the entrance to the Maya instance, right in the heart of the hinterland. This is where a daunting tropical territory awaits, in which aggressive ghost beings, predatory animals and yet more Mayan warriors lie in wait, guarding a mysterious treasure.

Together with the instance, 'Beyond the Horizon' will also render the existing dungeons, such as the Mallorca Cave and the Cretan Labyrinth, playable by groups for the first time. Besides that, all instances in Bounty Bay Online will offer daily, well-rewarded quests with the upcoming expansion.

The idea of a Call of Duty MMO was met with a lot of hostility from the Ten Ton Hammer boards, which doesn't bode well for what will prove to be a major theme in 2010 - the persistent world shooter.

Three top-tier genre benders are slated for release next year, so what can they do to capture an already listless MMOG crowd? Does the lack of story and persistence, the blistering pace, the notoriously rough-edged playerbase, or the lack of slick shooter skills play a bigger role in making the MMOFPS an uncomfortable proposition?

Thoughts on this topic plus a brand new Sins of a Solar Empire feature and three new or newly rebuilt guides in today's Loading... A Pwn in Their Game.

Your thoughts are welcome too, share them below and have a great weekend!
