My question for any one of you lucky enough to have played during the PvP weekend. Given the relativly short range of Heals, is attempting to heal your team mates during a PvP battle less effective than full out DPS?

The commentary is hit and miss but whatever i like it better then listening to metal while i am trying to see how classes play.

My (very limited) understanding of the healing classes isn't that one is necessarily "better" than the others in any given situation.
Based on all the hearsay I've heard they just have different healing styles. For instance the bear shaman gains +healing power directly based on his dps, so the more damage he does the bigger his heals are. One of the other classes (ToS I think) gains mana regen based on his dps, and I haven't heard how the 3rd priest class heals yet, but I"m sure they've got some tricks up their sleeve.
